Rob Johnson, manager of the Green Legacy Programme talks about the importance of trees and the need to plant trees. He speaks about the disconnect we have with the environment and our food, and the importance of involving children. This spring the Green Legacy Programme in Wellington County will have planting over two million trees. The second video is about the importance of building up the organic matter in agricultural soils and the role of trees can play in agriculture.
He gave this presentation at the 2015 Trenton Woodland Conference  and at the 2016 National Farmers Union Local Northumberland Hastings and Prince Edward Annual Meeting in March.
