Kim Hadwen is now a real estate agent specializing in selling farms and other rural property. The Hadwens also have Belgian horses and mules. The Belgian breed is a heavy draft horse. As the price of fuel goes up Kim is using them more and more for farm work. The Hadwens hope to be putting most, if not all, their crops in under horse power. They offer horse-drawn sleigh and wagon rides year round(weather permitting). Broke teams of horses are available for sale. Kim Hadwen organizes the horse plowing competitions at the Hastings County Farm Show and Plowing Match in August, which is in Quinte West this year.
