Centre Hastings – Changing a light bulb might not strike some as a meaningful way to help the environment, but when the entire community acts as one, even switching light bulbs can make a difference, says Darwin Gorman.
He’ll be able to tell you more when he comes knocking at your door starting September 1. Gorman, the environmental project co-ordinator for the Municipality of Centre Hastings, will be offering an energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulb for each member of the household to change.
