This Thanksgiving, let’s remember to give thanks to the farmers -big and small- who produce the good food and beverages that we could not live well without! If you need to do any last-minute shopping for your meal this weekend, try your nearest farmers’ market and look for the trusted Foodland Ontario sticker in your go-to grocery store.

The week leading up to the holiday is Ontario Agriculture Week! Ontario farmers proudly grow and produce more than 200 different food commodities for markets right here at home and abroad. On this 25th anniversary, the province has launched Dine Ontario, an initiative to celebrate and promote the good food that grows in Ontario!
Restaurants and food businesses across the province can sign up to participate by featuring items on their menus with good things grown, brewed and made in Ontario including wine, beer, spirits and cider. More information on this exciting initiative here.
