Greetings!
My name is Karen Stille, and I am the new part-time operations manager for Harvest Hastings. I grew up in Thunder Bay and have raised my family here in rural Eastern Ontario. I share with you a personal commitment and connection to the land. It is very exciting to begin working for an organization that is steeped in the strong values of community-building, sustainability, and inclusivity. Many thanks to Louise Livingstone and all the past and current board members for the many years of service and passion that each contributed to lay such an incredible foundation.
How can we help you better?
You are receiving this letter as a local producer that is listed in our directory. We would love your feedback about your experiences with Harvest Hastings, as well as your ideas on how we can improve. In the coming weeks, you will be contacted by a team of Business and Marketing students from Loyalist College. They are conducting an online market research survey to learn how we can better support the producers and consumers of Hastings County. Your input is valuable, and your participation most-appreciated! We are offering a one-year FREE membership with Harvest Hastings for everyone who completes the survey! Membership provides you with a detailed listing in our annual print magazine. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete their survey.
A new look!
The Harvest Hastings website has a new look and design! Thanks to a grant from the Community Futures Development Corporation, we enlisted the enthusiasm and expertise of Peter Wills of wordanddata.com. Peter has redesigned the site to make it more user-friendly. You can access your unique producer profile to update your information, as well as share special announcements about your products or services. You will soon be invited to participate in an online webinar to learn how to navigate the website. For now you can edit your listing by visiting www.harvesthastings.ca and clicking Sign In in the top right corner. We’ll be sending login info in the mail and email, or you can reset your password form a link on the login window. Please review your listing to make sure the important details of your business are accurate.

— Karen Stille
