Later on in the spring, Hastings Stewardship Council and the municipalities will be giving out native hardwood and conifer trees and shrubs to residents of Centre Hastings, Madoc Township, Marmora and Lake, Stirling-Rawdon and Tweed. You can pick up some seedlings at no charge.

The Hastings Stewardship Council has a small number of maple trees, costing $10 each, for people to
plant along roadside.
Watch the local media, the coming events section of www.harvesthastings.ca or contact Jim Pedersen Hastings Stewardship Council co-ordinator for more information at (613) 478-6875.
