New members of Harvest Hastings Kailey Bosch and Rich McFarlane run Melrose Market Garden. It is  is a small-scale vegetable farm located in Bay of Quinte. Rich and Kailey have been growing vegetables for family and friends for the past five years, and are now entering their second season of growing for their Community Supported Agriclulture (CSA) members and customers.
“We believe in providing fresh, local, sustainably grown veggies from our farm to your home. We believe people should have a relationship with their food, one that gives back to both you and the land. Instead of organic certification, we believe in transparent farming practices and being open and honest about all inputs used on our farm. We do not use synthetic fertilizers, GMO’s or pesticides,” said Kailey “By joining our Community Supported Agriculture program, you will receive weekly farm fresh, sustainably grown produce all summer for as little as $17/week with our half share program”
They have some shares available for 2017. You can buy their vegetables and maple syrup at the Belleville Farmers Market
